OpenClaw has released OpenClaw 2.0, describing it as the largest update in the open-source AI agent framework’s history. The release involved 933 contributors and more than 16,000 cumulative pull requests, with updates spanning installation, messaging, memory, skills, models, automation, browser and native applications, plugins, and security. The team said it simplified the installation process and rebuilt the browser application as the primary interaction interface to help users get started faster. OpenClaw 2.0 also adds a shared cloud session feature for multi-user collaboration and task handoffs, while remaining open source and independent of any single company or AI provider.
