Peter Steinberger, founder of OpenClaw, has criticized Tencent's new AI platform, SkillHub, for scraping data from ClawHub, leading to increased server costs. According to a user on the X platform, Tencent imported all skill data from ClawHub into SkillHub. Steinberger highlighted that the scraping activity, which he described as "copying/repurposing," has driven server costs to five figures in US dollars. He questioned Tencent's willingness to support the original project instead of exacerbating its financial burden.
