OpenAI has launched its Trusted Access for Cyber initiative, partnering with 14 organizations, including major Wall Street financial institutions like Bank of America, BlackRock, and JPMorgan Chase. The initiative aims to enhance cybersecurity defenses using OpenAI's GPT-5.4-Cyber model. Other partners include cybersecurity firms CrowdStrike and Zscaler, as well as tech giants Cisco and NVIDIA.
In addition to the partnerships, OpenAI announced a $10 million Cybersecurity Grant Program to support open-source security and vulnerability research. Initial grantees include Socket and Semgrep. The initiative also involves collaboration with the Center for AI Standards and Innovation and the UK AI Safety Institute to assess the model's cybersecurity capabilities.
