The new mode delivers speeds up to 8x faster than Sol's standard configuration while maintaining intelligence levels approaching GPT-6 Astra. API pricing for Ultrafast mode is set at $12 per million input tokens and $60 per million output tokens, representing a 1.2x premium over Astra rates. Access within Codex and ChatGPT Work is restricted to Pro 500 subscribers, eligible pay-as-you-go enterprise accounts, and credit-based education users.
