Martin, who joined OpenAI in 2019, played a key role in developing the company's deployment strategies and researcher access programs. The Foundation, which holds a 26% equity stake in OpenAI valued at over $180 billion, plans to invest $1 billion in initiatives including AI safety and biosecurity.
