OpenAI Codex product lead Tibo said the team has identified and fixed multiple quality issues reported by Astra users, with a reset scheduled before midnight local time today, equivalent to 12:00 PM Beijing time.
The fixes addressed abnormal triggering of old model skills, a disabled context management experiment that affected an estimated 4,000 to 5,000 users, and the removal of improperly configured engines that caused measurable quality degradation in tail traffic. Tibo said the overall experience should improve through more consistent execution, better tracking of users’ latest messages, and stronger result checking during workflows.
