Ondo Finance has denied reports that the company was being shopped for sale following the death of founder Nathan Allman. A spokesperson stated that no one at the firm has engaged in sales talks or sought buyers, calling allegations of a potential sale "wholly untrue." The estate declined to comment on the matter. The denial comes as an escalating legal battle over control of the firm continues. Under a current court order, De Bode remains CEO and oversees day-to-day operations but cannot make major changes while the dispute is resolved. A separate petition by Allman’s half-sister and an Ondo investor seeks to limit Kathleen Allman’s control over her share of the estate, allegations which she has denied. Founded in 2021 by former Goldman Sachs executives, Ondo offers tokenized U.S. Treasuries and stocks with more than $3.8 billion across its products. The platform remains one of the largest real-world asset protocols on blockchain, with its OUSG fund holding investments in BlackRock’s tokenized BUIDL fund.
