Omacom Foundation has secured an additional $2 million in backing after TapTap founder Yunjie Dai and Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong each contributed $1 million, lifting total support from its founding patrons to $12 million.
David Heinemeier Hansson, creator of Ruby on Rails and partner at Basecamp, disclosed the new commitments in a post on X. The Omacom Foundation website now lists both Dai and Armstrong among its Founding Patrons. Omacom said cryptocurrency will hold an important place in its operating system and community.
