The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Ohio reported that the siblings were deceived by a scammer known as "Shaw Goddess" on Telegram, who directed them to invest through Crypto.com and Strike.com. The funds were then transferred to a fraudulent platform, rendering them inaccessible.
U.S. law enforcement has managed to freeze 325,060 USDT, valued at approximately $325,060, and transferred it to a controlled wallet. Federal investigators utilized blockchain analysis to track the stolen funds, and a lawsuit has been filed to forfeit the funds and return them to the victims.
