The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) has announced a partnership with digital asset firm Securitize to develop a platform for 24-hour trading of tokenized securities. Securitize will become NYSE's first digital equity registrar, enabling the issuance of stocks and ETF shares as digital tokens on the blockchain. This initiative marks a significant step for Wall Street in its efforts to bring securities on-chain, facilitating round-the-clock trading and more efficient settlement processes.
