The New York Stock Exchange announced a partnership with Wall Street financial services giant Broadridge Financial Solutions to provide on-chain governance and digital transfer agent services for its planned tokenized stock trading platform. The collaboration will cover shareholder record management, investor communications, and proxy voting, enabling investors to cast shareholder votes through supported wallets, brokerage platforms, or Broadridge's existing ProxyVote service.
Broadridge, which currently serves more than 10,000 listed companies worldwide and settles over $15 trillion in securities trades daily, will help tokenized stocks retain the shareholder rights of traditional markets while trading on-chain. Securitize and tZERO were previously included in the transfer agent service lineup for NYSE's tokenization platform.
