NVIDIA has delivered its first Vera CPUs to SpaceX, marking the chipmaker's entry into agentic AI workloads. SpaceX CEO Elon Musk publicly endorsed the collaboration, highlighting the chip's performance. The Vera CPU, featuring 88 custom Olympus cores and 1.2 TB/s memory bandwidth, promises up to 50% faster performance than competitors. The initial rollout includes SpaceX, OpenAI, Anthropic, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, with NVIDIA's hyperscale division overseeing the deployment.
