The report, released on June 1, evaluated companies based on AI awareness, advocacy, strategic orientation, and implementation, using data from earnings call transcripts, job postings, and patent applications. NVIDIA, Meta, Amazon, and Schlumberger (SLB) all achieved a perfect score of 100.
The report also highlighted industry leaders, with Alphabet leading in Communication Services, Amazon in Consumer Discretionary, Walmart in Consumer Staples, SLB in Energy, Block in Financials, and Microsoft in Information Technology. AIDE CEO Paul Cheek emphasized that the index serves as a benchmark for boards and management teams to assess their AI strategies relative to peers, noting the need for improved AI literacy among corporate leaders.
