NVIDIA expanded its open-source CUDA-Q platform with CUDA-Q Logical, an orchestration layer designed to provide programmable and verifiable tools for developing fault-tolerant quantum computing applications.
The company said Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory used CUDA-Q Logical to cut fault-tolerant algorithm development time from about five months to three weeks, improving efficiency by roughly seven times. CUDA-Q also integrated Sandia National Laboratories’ QUOPS benchmark to evaluate quantum hardware progress toward practical fault-tolerant quantum computing across platforms.
CUDA-Q Logical has been adopted by quantum computing companies and research institutions including Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, Infleqtion, and IQM Quantum Computers.
