Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Zero Gravity (0G) have announced a S$5 million investment to establish a decentralized AI research center. This initiative aims to advance blockchain-based AI technologies, focusing on transparency, security, and accessibility. The center will explore decentralized AI training, blockchain integration, and proof-of-work consensus mechanisms. The four-year project will feature workshops, hackathons, and scholarships, with early proof-of-concept expected within two years. This collaboration marks 0G's first partnership with a global university and reinforces Singapore's role in open AI development. 0G previously secured over $325 million in funding, including a $40 million seed round led by Hack VC.
