According to BTC Prague co-founder Martin Kuchař, attackers initiate contact through compromised Telegram accounts and arrange Zoom or Teams calls. During these meetings, they disguise themselves as someone the victim knows and claim audio issues, prompting the installation of a so-called "Zoom audio fix" plugin, which is actually macOS malware.
