Nokia CEO Justin Hotard has characterized the current artificial intelligence boom as the beginning of a supercycle, akin to the internet revolution of the 1990s. Despite concerns about a potential bubble, Hotard highlighted Nokia's robust financial performance, with Q3 2025 adjusted operating profits reaching €435 million, surpassing analyst expectations of €324 million. The surge in profits is largely attributed to increased demand from AI and cloud customers, which accounted for up to 6% of quarterly sales through network infrastructure supporting data centers. Looking ahead, Hotard forecasts operating profits for 2025 to range between €1.6 billion and €2.1 billion, underscoring the company's optimistic outlook on the AI-driven market expansion.
