Noise, a trend prediction platform within the Base ecosystem, has opened its waitlist for applications, according to official announcements on March 12. The platform, which focuses on prediction markets, completed a $7.1 million seed funding round in January, led by Paradigm, with additional investments from Figment Capital, Anagram, GSR, JPEG Trading, and KaitoAI. The Noise testnet, which launched its beta version in May last year, was initially accessible only to invited users. It attracted over 1,300 participants who engaged in predictions across 14 attention markets, utilizing social media data provided by Kaito to track cryptocurrency topics.
