Nium, a global cross-border payment infrastructure company, has acquired Cypher, a crypto-native non-custodial wallet and card issuing company. This acquisition aims to integrate digital assets with Nium's global payment network to advance fiat-to-on-chain payment services. As part of the transition, Cypher's existing platforms, including consumer applications, enterprise card platforms, and the CYPR ecosystem, will be gradually shut down, with services officially ceasing on September 6, 2026.
