NewLimit, an anti-aging company co-founded by Coinbase's Brian Armstrong, has raised $435 million in a Series C funding round led by Founders Fund. The round saw participation from new investors Thrive Capital, Greenoaks, and Quiet Capital, alongside existing backers such as Kleiner Perkins and Eli Lilly Ventures. This latest funding round has propelled NewLimit's valuation to $3.1 billion, more than doubling its value from the previous year. The company, which aims to reverse cellular aging, currently has no products on the market. However, it plans to initiate human trials for its first drug targeting alcohol-related liver disease next year. The significant investment underscores growing interest in the biotech sector's potential to address aging-related health issues.
