New York Life Investment Management (NYLIM) has partnered with Centrifuge to introduce the NYLIM Anemoy U.S. High Yield Corporate Bond Segregated Portfolio (HYB), a tokenized fund focusing on high-yield corporate bonds. This marks NYLIM's first venture into tokenized products, utilizing Centrifuge's platform for issuance. Transactions are settled in USDC, with NYLIM managing the investments and Centrifuge providing the tokenization technology. The fund is structured as a BVI segregated portfolio, allowing investors to directly claim underlying assets. While not available to U.S. investors, it targets stablecoin issuers, DeFi users, and DAO treasuries seeking higher yields. Centrifuge earns revenue through management fees and is currently expanding its operations.
