Aleksey Bilyuchenko, allegedly linked to the infamous Mt. Gox hack, reportedly transferred 1,300 BTC, valued at approximately $114 million, to an undisclosed exchange over the past week. The addresses associated with Bilyuchenko still hold 4,100 BTC, worth around $360 million, with 2,300 BTC already sold. Bilyuchenko, co-founder of the now-defunct BTC-e exchange, was charged by the U.S. Department of Justice for his alleged involvement in the theft of 647,000 BTC from Mt. Gox in 2011. The recent movements of these funds are being closely monitored by traders and long-term investors, as they assess the potential market impact of these ongoing sales.
