Morpho co-founder Paul Frambot has confirmed that a security incident involving the Resolv protocol has impacted 15 vaults within the Morpho ecosystem. The breach affected stablecoin USR, asset RPL, and lending markets using these assets as collateral. Out of approximately 500 Morpho vaults with deposits over $10,000, these 15 vaults had significant exposure to the affected markets.
Frambot emphasized that the impacted vaults were designed for high-risk strategies, utilizing long-tail collateral assets. He reassured users that all other vaults, including low-risk "blue-chip vaults," were unaffected, highlighting the effectiveness of Morpho's risk isolation mechanism. Users are advised to stay updated through official announcements from Resolv and its curators.
