Morgan Stanley has announced the removal of restrictions on cryptocurrency investment products for all clients, effective October 15. This change allows all clients, including those with retirement accounts, to invest in Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other crypto asset funds. Previously, only clients with assets exceeding $1.5 million and high risk tolerance were eligible. The bank will implement automated monitoring to prevent excessive concentration in volatile assets and recommends a maximum crypto allocation of 4%.
