Moonshot AI has launched Kimi K2.6, an open-source programming model that sets new standards across multiple benchmarks. The model supports ultra-long-term programming tasks, enabling over 4,000 tool calls and continuous execution for more than 12 hours. It also offers cross-language and cross-task generalization, enhancing its versatility. Key improvements include advanced frontend animation generation capabilities, supporting video backgrounds and 3D effects, and enhanced agent cluster capabilities, allowing up to 300 parallel sub-agents per run. Kimi K2.6 also introduces proactive agents for 24/7 autonomous operation and a Claw Groups research preview feature for human-machine collaboration.
