MoonPay has introduced MoonAgents, a desktop application designed to facilitate crypto transactions through AI assistants like Claude and OpenAI Codex. The application, which initially debuted as a command-line tool in February, now features a graphical interface to enhance user accessibility. MoonAgents allows AI models to interact with crypto wallets and blockchain services while securely storing wallet keys locally in encrypted form. This upgrade includes pre-built skills, scheduled automation, and an artifact system for creating custom dashboards to manage financial activities. MoonPay emphasizes that the application enables AI models to operate on users' local computers without exposing private keys to the AI.
