MoonPay has acquired Israeli crypto security startup Sodot in an all-stock deal valued at $100 million. The acquisition will see Sodot integrated into MoonPay's new MoonPay Institutional division, which aims to offer comprehensive cryptocurrency and blockchain services to major financial institutions. These services include trading, tokenized securities, payments, wallet management, and stablecoin issuance. Caroline D. Pham, who joined MoonPay as Chief Legal Officer and Chief Administrative Officer in December, leads the division.
