MoneyGram has announced its role as a remittance validator on Tempo, a Layer 1 blockchain developed by Stripe and Paradigm. The company will verify remittance transactions on the network and integrate stablecoin settlements, including those with Stripe, into its global financial flows. Tempo, which focuses on stablecoin transactions and exchanges, targets use cases such as remittances, retail commerce, and corporate fund management. Other enterprise validators on the network include Stripe, Visa, and Zodia Custody. Tempo launched its mainnet in mid-March and secured $500 million in Series A funding last October.
