Mitsui & Co. plans to introduce Japan's first digital securities backed by aircraft and ships through its subsidiary, Mitsui & Co. Digital Asset Management. The launch is expected in the 2026 fiscal year, starting in April. These securities will be available to retail investors, allowing for fractional investment with a minimum subscription of approximately 100,000 yen. Investors will have the opportunity to earn income from aircraft or ship leasing.
