Mid-sized Bitcoin miners Cipher Mining, Bitdeer, and HIVE Digital have significantly advanced in the hashrate rankings, according to September data. These companies have narrowed the gap with established leaders such as MARA and CleanSpark. Publicly listed miners collectively achieved a hashrate of 326 EH/s in September 2025, up from 150 EH/s a year earlier, now representing 31.6% of the network's total hashrate. Cipher Mining increased its hashrate by 152% to 18.2 EH/s, while Bitdeer expanded by 267% to 32.7 EH/s, driven by new SEALMINER deployments. HIVE Digital nearly quadrupled its hashrate to 19.3 EH/s, leveraging new hydroelectric facilities in Paraguay. IREN also saw substantial growth, increasing its hashrate by 167% to join the top tier of miners.
