Bitcoin wallets holding 100 to 1,000 BTC accumulated 73,300 BTC over the past 60 days, marking the strongest increase since April 21, according to CryptoQuant analyst Amr Taha. The total remains about 20% below the April 21 peak of 91,920 BTC.
At the same time, wallets holding more than 10,000 BTC posted positive growth of 43,300 BTC. That contrasts with the April-May period, when the over-10,000 BTC cohort fell to around negative 40,000 BTC near May 14, followed by an about 25% drop in Bitcoin's price. The analyst said the current whale holding structure is completely different from the earlier period.
