Microsoft has launched Copilot Health, a new AI-driven healthcare product designed to provide personalized health insights and medical recommendations. The system integrates data from over 50 types of wearable devices, electronic health records from more than 50,000 U.S. hospitals, and laboratory test results. Copilot Health's responses are based on authoritative sources like Harvard Health Publishing, ensuring traceable and reliable information. Microsoft CEO Mustafa Suleyman highlighted the product as a step towards achieving "medical superintelligence," aiming to combine the generalist knowledge of a primary care physician with the specialist expertise of a medical expert. The platform emphasizes user privacy, allowing users to disconnect data sources or delete data at any time, and ensuring that user data is not used for model training.
