Michael Saylor, co-founder and executive chairman of Strategy, has forecasted that Bitcoin will outperform the S&P 500 by nearly 29% annually over the next 21 years. Speaking on a crypto-focused podcast, Saylor highlighted Bitcoin's finite supply and decentralized nature as key factors in its potential to become a superior 'digital capital'. Saylor envisions Bitcoin replacing traditional assets as a preferred store of value for institutional investors. He also discussed the potential for Bitcoin-backed loans to offer longer durations and stronger returns, criticizing conventional currencies for their inflation susceptibility. Strategy, Saylor's firm, holds over 638,000 BTC and is now eligible for S&P 500 inclusion, reflecting improved profitability and accounting changes.
