The attacker converted these funds into 4,400 ETH and has already moved 1,000 ETH into Tornado Cash, a privacy-focused Ethereum mixer. This incident highlights ongoing vulnerabilities in the DeFi space, where MEV bots are often targeted due to their significant holdings. The use of Tornado Cash suggests an attempt to obscure the trail of the stolen funds, complicating recovery efforts.
