Metaplex Foundation, a Solana ecosystem asset issuance platform, has announced a partnership with South Korean entertainment company K Wave Media to advance the Gaon Project. This collaboration aims to explore the tokenization and management of Korean cultural IPs, including K-pop, film, and animation, through blockchain technology. The project seeks to connect fan communities with content creators via digital assets and explore the on-chain issuance of cultural IPs and real-world assets (RWA).
