Japanese Bitcoin treasury firm Metaplanet has disclosed its fiscal year 2025 financial results, revealing it holds 35,102 BTC, making it Japan's largest Bitcoin holder. This amount represents approximately 0.16% of the global Bitcoin supply, placing Metaplanet fourth among public companies worldwide in Bitcoin holdings. The company aims to control 1% of the global Bitcoin supply by 2027, focusing on its "Bitcoin Revenue Business" to drive profit growth. Metaplanet reported a significant financial performance for 2025, with revenue reaching ¥8.905 billion, marking a 738.3% increase from the previous year. Operating profit soared by 1,694.5% year-over-year, totaling ¥6.287 billion, underscoring the company's robust growth strategy.
