MetaMask users are being targeted by a new phishing scam that impersonates the wallet's security alerts to steal users' seed phrases. According to SlowMist's Chief Information Security Officer, scammers create fake MetaMask security pages to trick users into completing a fraudulent two-factor authentication (2FA) process. This scam involves a counterfeit security alert page, a fake 2FA verification interface, and a countdown timer, ultimately leading users to input their wallet seed phrases.
