Metal, a settlement network for tokenized financial products, has completed its seed funding round, co-led by Airwallex and Capital49. Airwallex also joins as the first design partner. The network, launched by former Ren Protocol founder Loong Wang and ex-Libra project partnerships lead Catherine Porter, aims to provide institutional-grade infrastructure for tokenized financial products. Metal's platform will support AI agents, identity verification, and global on/off-ramp channels across 200 countries and 90 currencies.
