Matrixdock, a leader in real-world asset (RWA) news under Matrixport, made significant strides in gold tokenization in 2025. In April, the company completed its first physical gold redemption, involving a 1kg LBMA-compliant bar and the destruction of 32.148 XAUm tokens. To enhance transparency, Matrixdock introduced quarterly audits and third-party verification for on-chain news. The XAUm token expanded to the Sui blockchain and gained adoption by the Sui Foundation. Matrixdock also joined the Singapore Bullion Market Association, contributing to its journal. By December, Matrixdock became the core tokenization partner for the TER project in Grep, marking its entry into sovereign-level digital infrastructure.
