Lolli has unveiled a new Bitcoin cashback feature, allowing users to earn Bitcoin rewards on purchases made with linked debit cards. This initiative, in collaboration with the merchant network Kard, enables over 600,000 accounts to earn rewards without needing a dedicated crypto card. Users simply link their Visa or Mastercard within the Lolli app, and Bitcoin rewards are automatically deposited into their Lolli wallet when shopping at participating merchants. The feature supports both online and in-store purchases across thousands of merchants, including brands like Dropbox and Hydro Flask. The card linking process is facilitated through Plaid, and rewards can be withdrawn via the Lightning Network or used within Thesis's Bitcoin ecosystem. This launch marks Lolli's largest product upgrade since its acquisition by Thesis, aiming to integrate Bitcoin rewards into everyday spending. The move reflects growing demand for crypto reward products as regulatory clarity improves.
