Liu Ren, a significant figure in the Chen Zhi criminal syndicate, has been repatriated from Phnom Penh, Cambodia, by a working group from China's Ministry of Public Security. Liu Ren was involved in establishing the Jinbei Group in 2016 under the direction of Chen Zhi. The group operated multiple online gambling platforms and, since 2020, has been implicated in large-scale telecommunications and internet fraud crimes in Cambodia, involving substantial financial sums.
