LiteLLM has been hit by a second supply chain attack, with malicious version 1.107.0 compromising PyPI packages and Docker images, including floating tags such as latest and main-stable. The injected code executes automatically upon Python startup, stealing cloud credentials, AI API keys, and SSH private keys while enabling remote code execution.
Affected versions have been removed or replaced. Security firm SlowMist recommends users avoid version 1.107.0, rebuild environments from clean images, rotate potentially leaked credentials, and pin LiteLLM to version 1.106.2.
