Lido has announced it will fully compensate users affected by a recent pricing error in Aave's oracle, which led to the liquidation of some users' positions. The incident was caused by an incorrect price range setting for wstETH:USD by the Aave CAPO oracle. Lido assured that no bad debt was incurred and emphasized that the event does not impact the security of wstETH's underlying assets, the Lido protocol, or its financial products, including stRATEGY and GGV. User funds remain secure.
