Lido has announced the integration of Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) as the official cross-chain infrastructure for wrapped staked Ethereum (wstETH). This partnership will enable all wstETH cross-chain transfers to utilize the Cross-Chain Token (CCT) standard, ensuring enhanced security through Chainlink's CCIP. The deployment of this infrastructure will occur in phases over the coming months, covering all 16 chains. Initial expansions are already in progress on chains like Plasma, Monad, Ink, and 0G.
