Lido DAO has approved a proposal to adopt the SEAL Whitehat Safe Harbor Agreement, allowing whitehat hackers to intervene during real-time attacks to rescue funds. The agreement stipulates that whitehats will receive a reward of 10% of the recovered funds, with a maximum of $2 million per incident. This initiative operates independently of the existing bug bounty program. The proposal received unanimous support in a Snapshot vote and will proceed to on-chain governance for final approval.
