Li claims that ABCDE Capital only transferred $500,000 of the agreed $1.5 million investment, yet the company's cap table reflected equity based on the full amount. This funding shortfall reportedly led to pay cuts for Li and his co-founder, affecting hiring and R&D efforts. Li Bojie left Metagent in October 2024, citing family reasons and compliance issues with Web3 in China. He asserts that he disclosed all necessary information about the cap table and business progress before his departure. Li also emphasized that his new ventures do not infringe on non-compete clauses related to Web3, AI infrastructure, and image generation.
