Lens Technology is supplying the inner-screen ultra-thin flexible glass (UTG) for Apple’s first foldable phone, reportedly called the iPhone Duo. The company has added a custom nano-texture to the glass to reduce the visibility of the foldable screen’s crease. Lens Technology said in an institutional investor survey that it supplies UTG, transparent polyimide film, UTG support plates, 3D glass covers and other products for a major client’s foldable-device project. The company expects to benefit significantly from the launch of the new model.
