LayerBank, an on-chain money market platform, has successfully raised $2.3 million in a Pre-Seed funding round. The investment was backed by notable figures and entities including Move Industries CEO Torab Torabi, Coin Bureau Chinese, DVchain, Taiko, Rootstock, and various angel investors. The funds will be directed towards the development and launch of LayerBank's native token, ULAB, which aims to underpin the platform's value capture and incentive model. The Token Generation Event (TGE) for ULAB is planned to take place on the Movement Network. LayerBank currently supports over 150 markets across more than 17 chains, offering lending and yield strategies through a unified chain abstraction experience.
