According to Liu, after legal verification and analysis, these reports exaggerate isolated cases related to fraud and gambling enforcement and do not represent a general policy against ordinary crypto holders. Liu emphasized that law enforcement must follow legal procedures, requiring search warrants to inspect phones and formal procedures for handling virtual assets. The notion of 'seize on sight' lacks legal basis, Liu stated.
