Aptos has announced the upcoming deployment of the KRW1 stablecoin on its network. Issued by BDACS Korea, this marks the first time the Korean won-pegged stablecoin will be launched on a non-EVM blockchain. Aptos highlighted that KRW1 will facilitate various applications, including payments, cross-border remittances, and real-world asset tokenization.
